Interest and purpose of the training

In the participatory process, monitoring and evaluation tend to merge into a continuous process of review and adjustment of inputs to match the resources available to the community.

• Introduce relevant concepts and instruments to motivate a participatory approach in the monitoring and evaluation process
• To evaluate the operation and maintenance status of the water supply schemes
• To monitor current knowledge, attitude and practices with regards water supply and sanitation
